34-acre waterscape complete with pools, lagoons, grottos, waterfalls,
Mayan temple and archeological dig site of the lost city of Atlantis.
- Eleven exhibit lagoons with over 200 species of beautiful tropical
fish including a predator lagoon alive with sharks, barracudas, and
stingrays. A 100-foot long clear, underwater viewing tunnel passing
through the predator lagoon. - Eleven free-form pools including a
children's pool. - A seven-acre snorkeling lagoon. A 1/4-mile- long
lazy river ride for tubing. 90-foot rope suspension swing bridge over
the predator lagoon and cascading waterfall. A five story Mayan temple
with five waterslides. Atlantis and The Discovery Channel have teamed
up to develop this exciting new program which will allow children,
ages 4 to 12 years old, to experience a new level of educational
entertainment: Shipwrecks, stingrays and jellyfish. 50,000 live
creatures from the sea. Mayan Temple water slides through a
shark-filled lagoon. Journey into ancient empires and the frontiers of
science with 21st century computer and television technology. The
world of family vacations is about to be changed. Camp Hours: 9am
to10pm - 7 days a week divided into 4 sessions, morning (9:00am -
12:30pm), afternoon (1:30pm - 5:00pm), and evening (6:00pm - 10:00pm).
Camp Fees (To be paid directly to hotel): Morning Session - $30 per
child; Afternoon Session - $40 per child; Evening Session - $45 per
child. For all day program $70 (including lunch). Meals are optional:
Lunch (from 12:30pm to 1:30pm) $10 per child; Dinner (5:00pm to
6:00pm) $15 per child. **Reservations are required and no refunds will
be issued once reservations have been confirmed** Camp Features: -
EXPLORATION & HISTORY: Adventure begins around an authentic
replica of the Atocha, a famous Spanish galleon that sank in 1622.
Both a play and orientation area, it provides youngsters with an
overview of the adventures awaiting them throughout the day. -
TECHNOLOGY LAB: State-of-the-art computers linked to the internet,
image scanners and real video camcorders let kids make personalized
movies, postcards and posters - SCIENCE OUTPOST: Kid's will be
hands-on with working microscopes, magnifiers, live animal touch
tanks, aquariums, and specimen collections of fossils, bones, animals
and plants. - NATURE CRAFTS: Children will have a chance to express
their creativity through sand sculpting, wild artwork, puzzle making,
and Bahamian crafts. - ATLANTIS EXPLORATION: Outside, the world's
largest marine habitat, second only to Mother Nature, beckons
exploration. Kids will see over 40,000 marine animals, representing
150 species, from schools of giant sharks to sea turtles and sawfish.
They will explore The Dig, a maze of passageways and chambers
revealing how life may have been over 11,000 years ago.

restaurants: Murray's, Seagrapes, Marketplace, Water's Edge, **Atlas
Grill & Bar (** Dinner Only, n/a for breakfast). Dinner includes:
choice of either an appetizer, soup or salad, one entree, a selection
of one desert, coffee, tea, or soft drinks. Guests dining at Seagrapes
and Marketplace will enjoy a variety of selections available from the
buffet. GDP Inclusions: Full American Breakfast @ a choice of 5
restaurants: Seagrapes, The Cafe at the Great Hall of Waters,
Marketplace, Water's Edge, and Murray's. Choice of dinner at the
following restaurants: Seagrapes, Water's Edge, Villa D' Este,
Bahamian Club, Fathoms, Atlas Bar & Grill, The Cafe' at the Great
Hall of Waters, Murray's, and Five Twins. Dinner will include a choice
of either an appetizer, soup or salad, one entree', a selection of one
dessert, coffee, tea, or soft drinks. Guests dining at Seagrapes and
Marketplace will enjoy a variety of selections available from the
buffet. *DINING NOTES* - Guests who elect to dine in the Five Twins at
Atlantis or the Courtyard Terrace at the Ocean Club while on the
Gourmet Dining Plan will receive a $65.00 credit towards their meal.
Children under 12 years of age dining at Courtyard Terrace will
receive a $32.50 credit. In both restaurants, the credit will be
deducted from the overall restaurant bill and gratuities will be based
on 15% of the actual check as previously stated. Please note that
children under 12 years of age are unable to dine at Five Twins and
therefore no credit is offered. The dress code is 'strictly' enforced
at all restaurants that offer the GDP meal plan. - Atlas Grill &
Bar will no longer be a breakfast option for the Modified American
Plan.
